Lake Gogebic Resides half in Ontonagon County and half in Gogebic County. Lake Gogebic is the largest inland lake in the Upper Peninsula, with 12897.69 acres or 20.15 square miles.

Snowmobile: Snowmobile from your front door and ride the 7 major groomed trails within 3 miles of Lake Gogebic. Lake Superior, which is 25 miles from us, is one of the best snow makers in the land, dumping an average of 210 inches of snow each winter. That is why we are called Big Snow Country.
Fish: Fish for Walleye, Jumbo Perch, Small Mouth Bass and Northern on beautiful Lake Gogebic from your personal watercraft, snow machine or right off the dock. For thoses fishermen or women who like to enter contests, various area business offer them throughout the year.
